Nice looking smoke with good construction.
Lit well and burnt evenly, with a good quantity of rich smoke. Consistent smoke that rarely changed, burnt hot or got bitter. The only problem was that the flavour was a little bland.definately nothing to jump up and shout about. Not necessarily a ‘bad’ cigar, but just not very interesting. There are much better out there if you’re looking for a flavourful maduro. I tried this 1 as part of a quest to find a less expensive alternative to my much loved Ashton aged maduros. The quest goes on.

Let’s put it this way – I have had much better maduro’s and much better Romeo Y Julieta’s. If you find it cheap enought, this cigar makes a decent past time but nothing too fabolous.

This stogie has got the blackest wrapper I have ever seen, and it didn’t ‘bleed’ on my lips like some other super dark wrappers. Const. was a bit spotty, nothing too serious. The profile is full and rich with coffee–dark chocolate flavours and quite a bit of leather, along with some spice. This is a med–full smoke that really hit the spot for me.

i have smoked around a dozen of these blokes and must say their great.taste is 1 of utter smoothness and the first i smoked i was shocked by the silkyness of the plume.excellant but looks not impressive

    I love Romeo’s.
Alwaqs know your getting a great smoke when you torch 1 up. They’re really consistent and deliver great flavour every time. I in addition love maduro’s‚ so when I got a five pack of these little pups‚ I was really looking forward to it‚ maybe a little too much. To be honest‚ I was bored with the first 1 and absolutely looked forward to putting it out as the work of smoking it was not worth what I was getting in return. I took the advice of some of the reviews and parked ’em in the humi for awhile and retested. They were a bit better‚ but now that I have smoked them all [whihc I like to smoke a few before rating them]‚ I have to say it was an over all disappointment. When i was younger‚ I kept hearing how great the new Batman movie was‚ you know the 1 with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson as the Joker‚ well i heard so a plethora of great things concerning it that my expectations were just unreasonable. I left the movie disappointed‚ and I think that same thing might have happened with these. If i’m gonna put out the money that these cost‚ the CAO Brazilia’s are head and shoulders above these. Don’t get me wrong here either‚ they were basically kinda boring and not as flavourful as I prefer. It might be a matter of taste‚ but they just were not all that I expected.
