The wrapper on this stogie is a little pale looking and veiny but it is other wise solid and well–made. Like most Cuesta–Reys, the draw and burn are pretty good, even though this 1 seems to burn a little hot so take your time smoking. It’s mild, toasty and lightly peppery. A decent smoke which probably should cost about a dollar less.

    Dull, veiny wrapper.
Easy draw, so tendency to smoke hot if hard on the pull. Mild smoke. Hints of pine, clove, cedar and eucalyptus. Very enjoyable flavour as compared to other CRs. Stayed lit, even after laying down a couple of minutes. Fairly even burn. Good cigar for in between great cigars or to give to company you’re not trying to overly impress. Depending on price\sale, 1 might want to use this 1 as a protector for their fine cigars. A great golf cigar.

Perfect little robusto for a short pleasurable smoke. Better smokes for the money IMHO but I enjoyed this 1 very much.

This stogie has a pretty CTS wrapper. Not much pre–light flavour. Light and pleasant, with a sweet spice quality. Easy draw, good burn, pretty white ash. The sweet aspect fades a bit in the 2nd half & turns to a light dry spice tone. Mild bodied.

Well constucted cigar with just a light oily wrap‚ Mild smoke with hints of cedar and stronger floral notes. Easy draw and burn was very even. Smooth through out right down to the fingers. I like the 1884’s better but over all a smoke I had buy again.
